Overview
An Giang has the fourth largest area and the largest population in the Mekong River Delta (also known as the Southwest region), and also the sixth largest population in Vietnam. One part of An Giang province is located in Long Xuyen quadrangle.
Not only famous by Ba Chua Xu temple, but this place is also known as a miniature picture of the beauty of the Southwest region. With peaceful, poetic natural scenery and rustic, simple people, An Giang has become a wonderful land for those who love to visit and explore. Coming here, visitors will travel to Thuy Liem Lake (Cam mountain), watch the monument of Chau Doc Basa fish, and explore Tra Su melaleuca forest, etc.

An Giang is always beautiful all year round, but if you come here in April or August of the lunar calendar, you will be immersed in two big festivals, including Ba Chua Xu temple festival in Sam mountain (April 23 - April 27) and ox racing festival (end of August).
