Overview
Thien Cung cave is located north of Dau Go island, 4km south of the tourist ship port to the south. It is one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay thanks to its large cave area, many levels with many limestone stalactites and stalagmites bearing strange shapes.
Thien Cung Cave
Thien Cung cave is located right near Dau Go cave, the cave is at a height of 25m. This is the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay that people know. The cave is nearly 10,000m2 with a very complex structure, including many levels, many compartments with very high and wide ceilings and walls.
Especially in the cave, everywhere we see countless stalactites with strange shapes. So people have envisioned a myth about the love and separation of the Dragon's father, the Dragon Mother that took place on the cliff or thought this was the image of the mazes of the Persian Emperor in the story of thousand one night

Furthermore, the cave is connected to the outside by a small door, overlooking a small bay surrounded by a mountain area. In the cave, there is also an inscription on the cliff and the number 1901. Perhaps this is the pen of the first explorer who came to this cave.
Now people have built a system of stairs, beautiful and elaborate corridors both outside and inside the cave with lighting systems for visitors to easily visit the cave. On May 1, 1998, Thien Cung cave was officially opened to visitors and has since formed a wave of travel to Halong Bay. This is the first cave in Halong Bay that has been barked by humans to a large scale.
Today Thien Cung cave is a favorite stop that attracts many domestic and international tourists to visit and explore the cave. If you want to visit, just book a tour of the bay for 1 day or 2 days to sleep at the hotel with a 4-6 hour tour.
